Trade Relationships

October 30, 2019, Suriname and the UAE have signed an aviation agreement and declaration of intent. With these agreements, an airlift for trade and investment is being built between the two countries.

There is a wide scale of expertise with regard to safety and regulations that the UAE has to offer. Suriname has significant expertise in the production and export of agricultural goods to the UAE. UAE is the biggest importer of fruits and vegetables worldwide.
